We value your partnership, and we are pleased to provide you assistance on your assignment.
We recommend the following guidelines to ensure that you get the most out of your stay.
The earlier we are notified of your trip, the better we are able to accommodate you.
We require that you provide at least three (3) weeks notice prior to arrival:
- Please send an e-mail to Teri Freitas Gorman, Vice President, Corporate Communications at tgorman@mlpmaui.com with a short description of the purpose of your visit, media affiliation, dates and what type of support you will require from us.
- Also, submit a letter of assignment from the editor, news director or producer that includes date of assignment, story focus and date when the piece will run.
After Your Stay
Following your media visit, we would appreciate a copy of the published article or video tape, which resulted from your time at Kapalua Resort.
This will help us to track coverage and keep our files updated.
Please provide Kapalua Resort credit whenever possible in the story, video and/or photos.
Media Services
Kapalua Resort is committed to providing print, online and broadcast media information in the most accurate and timely manner possible.
In order to better serve you, we have the following resources available for your convenience:
- Photographs and Video
Visit the online photo image gallery and access 300 DPI photos that showcase the resort and our signature events. There are also extensive libraries of high-resolution digital photos available. Please contact Tracy Johnson, PR manager for more information. - Interviews
The public relations department can assist you in coordinating key people for interviews and site visits throughout the resort. Get the inside scoop from our knowledgeable staff on the accommodations available that include the newly renovated villas, real estate developments, championship golf courses and clubhouses, golf academy, art academy, tennis complex, restaurants, events, Hawaiian activities and working pineapple plantation tour.
Special Media Rates for Golf, Tennis and Accommodations
Please make your requests as early as possible, we require a minimum of three weeks advance notice.
The special rates are offered only to media directly responsible for producing a story.
Due to the large volume of visiting media, we cannot offer complimentary rates to your spouses, significant others, children or friends.
Additionally, we can't guarantee availability during holiday, peak periods, or special events.
If you are interested in other island information we will be glad to put you in touch with the appropriate contact at the Maui Visitors Bureau.
